DESCRIPTION:Concerts Denman is putting on a rare summer show to share the w
 onders of Gypsy Kumbia Orchestra with everyone in the Valley. It is the on
 ly show this fine band is playing in the islands this summer\, and what a 
 treat it will be. The show is also an early one\, planned so the live sets
  will be done in time for anyone to catch a ferry back to Vancouver Island
  on the 10:40\, so there is no reason to miss the fun. There will be DJs b
 efore and after to keep the fun rolling so you don't have to go home if yo
 u don't want to:)\n\nMontreal’s Gypsy Kumbia Orchestra is an explosion o
 f music and dance\, circus and imagination. The band is a creative chaos t
 hat fuses Afro-Colombian percussion with the brass and violin melodies of 
 the Roma peoples of Eastern Europe. Created In 2012 by GIROVAGO production
 s\, the band has already performed over 140 shows\, including many festiva
 ls across Canada\, Colombia\, France\, Austria\, Chec Republic. GKO was vo
 ted Montréal’s best world music group in 2015 (CAMUZ survey)\, and earn
 ed a 2016 JUNO and ADISQ Nominations for their first album\, Revuelta Danz
 a Party. With an ever growing following\, the group has arrived as one of

 ow with these fine folks since I moved out to our land\, and they can't st
 op saying enough nice things. There will be about 14 people on the stage s
 inging\, playing\, dancing\, and creating all sorts of merry making. We ho
 pe you can come and join the fun!\n\nDJ's Co-Captain and Eliazar will help
  build and continue the grooves before\, between\, and after their 2 sets 
 of sweaty dancing fun.
