Accolades have poured in for the Penderecki Quartet’s extensive discography, including compositions by Edvard Grieg, Beethoven and Bartok among many others. In 2022 they were featured on the soundtrack to David Cronenberg’s film Crimes of The Future. They have performed with such diverse artists as pianists Egberto Gismonti and Marc-André Hamelin, saxophonist Jane Bunnett, and New York’s turntable master DJ Spooky.
The ensemble has toured extensively throughout the world, including performances at prestigious venues such as New York’s Carnegie Hall, the Sheremetev Palace in St. Petersburg, and the Hong Kong Academy of the Arts. Concerts Denman is thrilled to welcome them to our own Denman Community Centre.
