Romanian bass-baritone Razvan Georgescu will perform two Cantatas by Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750) in collaboration with Bogdan Dulu, harpsichord, Elizabeth Eccleston, oboe, and Martin Bonham, cello.
They will perform the well-known Cantatas, BWV 56, “Ich will den Kreuzstab gerne tragen” (I will gladly carry the Cross); and BWV 82, “Ich habe Genug” (It is enough).
Between these two contatas, Martin Bonham will play the Prelude, Sarabande, and Gigue from the Bach Suite II in D minor for solo cello, BWV 1008.
