DESCRIPTION:\nSunday\, April 7th at the Denman Community Hall\, Concerts De
 nman Presents a double bill comedy show with local standup comedians Syd B
 osel\, Nash Park\, and sketch/improv comedy troupe Down to Clown. It’s a
 lways a good time to laugh!\n\nSyd Bosel spills your life out onto the sta
 ge\, as she shares her tales of “adult” children\, being married for 1
 \,000 years\, and other glories of nature. Her favorite reviews: “That o
 lder lady was really funny” (a Gen Z patron walking past her) and “My 
 wife laughed so hard that she peed her pants”.\n\nSyd placed first and w
 as voted Fan Favorite\, in the 2018 “BC’s Funniest New Female Comic”
 \, was a finalist in the 2019 “Great Canadian Yuk Off” and 2nd (out of
  65 comics) in the “Funniest Person with a Day Job” Competitions. In 2
 023\, she got 4 Yeses in “Canada’s Got Talent”.\n\nNash Park is a st
 and-up comedian born in the small town in northern BC. After high school N
 ash moved to Victoria BC and spent years chasing creative projects until h
 e discovered his love for stand-up comedy. After just one taste\, he was c
 ompletely hooked. Since then Nash has been regularly performing his high-e
 nergy\, hard-hitting stand-up to crowds all throughout BC. Nash is also fo
 under of OK\, DOPE\, a comedy collective that creates and produces live sh
 ows\, podcasts\, and comedic content. Nash has traveled all throughout BC 
 with the OK\, DOPE Stand-up Comedy Tour and is the host of OK\, DOPE’s f
 lagship production is The Late Night Show with Nash Park\, a live monthly 
 show that combines stand-up\, improv\, and sketch all within the structure
  of a classic late night talk show. When not on stage you can hear him\, a
 longside Alex Forman\, as one half of the OK\, DOPE Podcast.\n\nThe Comox 
 Valley’s own Sketch/Improv Troupe Down To Clown presents their partially
  improvised sketch comedy: Definitely not an MLM. Down to Clown consists o
 f local improv comedians Amber Cella\, Chris Wood\, Joel Fox\, Megan Rose 
 and sound/lighting tech Trond Halle.\n\nAmway\, Beach Body\, Tupperware\, 
 Arbonne\, surely we’ve all had someone in our lives try to sell us these
  products. Definitely not an MLM is a partially improvised comedic explora
 tion of the intriguing and shady world of Multi Level Marketing with Down 
 to Clown’s signature interpretation of how one moves through the ranks o
 f the be your own boss babe world. Be prepared to be dissuaded from ever d
 ipping your toes into the lower ranks of a pyramid scheme with Down to Clo
 wn’s 45 minute musical dramatization.\n\nTickets for the show are $25 ad
 vance/$30 at the door\, available at Abraxas Books and the General Store b
